White Desert Four O'Clock (Mirabilis multiflora 'Bella Blanca') is a bold, low-water plant that brings unexpected vibrancy to your garden. It's a unique white version of the classic desert four o'clock, discovered by Barney Barnett of Willard Bay Gardens. This native perennial sprawls wide and low, filling space with deep green foliage and pure white flowers that glow in the twilight.
It’s incredibly tough, thriving in poor soils and dry conditions, and once it’s established, it needs almost no attention. It spreads generously, making it a great choice for covering sunny slopes or hot, dry corners of your yard. Plus, it’s a favorite with native pollinators like hummingbirds and hawk moths—and not so popular with deer and rabbits, which makes it an excellent choice for landscaping use.
