Munro’s Globemallow (Sphaeralcea munroana) is a resilient perennial native to the Intermountain West, celebrated for its brilliant orange to salmon-colored blooms that appear from late spring through summer. This drought-tolerant wildflower thrives in well-drained, sandy, or rocky soils and is highly attractive to native bees and other pollinators. Its silvery-green foliage adds texture and contrast to water-wise landscapes. Munro’s Globemallow pairs beautifully with Blue Flax and Rocky Mountain Penstemon, creating a striking, low-maintenance display in prairies, meadows, and xeriscapes.
